Professor of Georgia Institute of Technology at SHNU Xuesihu Overseas Master Forum

         On June 3rd, Shui-Nee Chow, an internationally renowned mathematician and professor from Georgia Institute of Technology delivered his speech entitled Professor Jack K.Hale and His Mathematics with the audience of teachers and postgraduates from the College of Mathematics and Information Technology, SHNU. He was met by Vice President Li Hexing.
   
         As one of the avant-gardes and pace-setters of power system distribution theories, a heated quintessential research topic, he has composed Methods of Bifurcation Theory with Jack Hale, which won them an international fame. Having acted as Director of the School of Mathematics, Georgia Institute of Technology for a couple of years, he is now a chief editor of Journal of Differential Equations, one of top journals for SCI II.
