On May 26th , The 2nd Foreign Language School Attached to SHNU was Inaugurated by SHNU president Li Jin, vice president Xiang Jiaxiang, and heads from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education, Administrative Government, People’s Congress, Education Bureau, Personnel Bureau and Civil Affairs Bureau of Nanhui District etc. Li unveiled for the school with Shanghai Xindong Investment and Development Co. ltd.
Xiang delivered his speech at the ceremony to appeal for more efforts made in the prosperous future of the school, and that this might well be a springboard for bringing into play the great-leap-forward development. Originally known as non-governmental Shuangyi School, it had an agreement with SHNU in terms of cooperation in its development, which includes primary education, junior and senior middle school education and an international education department for overseas students.
