SHNU: On May 23, SHNU Vice-President Lu Jianfei met a delegation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (AFAW), and the two sides signed an interscholastic exchange agreement. The delegation was headed by Prof. Jacek Szewczyk, Rector of AFAW, and Prof. Piotr Kielan,Vice-Rector. Lu extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the university, while Prof. Szewczyk expressed his gratitude to SHNU for its earnest invitation and hospitality. Both sides hoped the cooperation between the two universities could be strengthened. With a history of more than 200 years, AFAW is well-known in Europe as the artistic center of Poland. It has 4 faculties including Faculty of Painting and Sculpture, Faculty of Graphic Art, Faculty of Interior Design and Designing, and Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. (Trans. by Jessica) |
