In order to celebrate the 31st International Museum Day and the 3rd Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, SHNU Department of Publicity and University Museum co-hosted a theme seminar on University Museum and Campus Culture Development, which was attended by Huang Gang, SHNU vice party secretary, Lu Jianfei, SHNU vice president, and heads of 11 university museum of folk culture.
Lu was quoted as saying that university museum should take a multifaceted, small-scaled, and theme-oriented mode, bring into full play the specific strengths of the university, bolster up academic progress, transfer as much as possible the forms of displays from picture to real items, expand the range of benefited crowds, and promote the development patterns from passive maintenance to active operation, so as to cultivate the visitors’ aesthetic views.
