The 7.8 Magnitude earthquake in Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province on May 12th invited severe casualties and properties damage. The morning of May 14th witnessed SHNU Standing Committee of CPC Commission Hold Urgent Meeting for Relief Work in Disaster-stricken regions.
It is urged in the meeting that all the working staff and students shall react promptly towards those still bogged down in the quagmire of this unpredictable catastrophe. The teachers are mustered up to donate blood voluntarily, all the students who are making a field study tour or doing internship beyond Shanghai shall be traced for close contact by relevant department, with the investigated data reported to the SHNU President’s Office before the end of every weekday.
