SHNU: On May 9, the opening ceremony of the Research Center of Asian Studies as well as the academic seminar was held in SHNU. Leaders from relevant departments unveiled the plaque to declare the establishment of the center. Over 20 scholars from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, etc., apart from those from our university, attended the seminar. The seminar, with the theme of “Transformation • Development • Asian Studies and China”, witnessed a heated discussion by the scholars present.
