Recently, there is an internet BBS post entitled “Signature for Energy-friendliness”, which has drawn the attention of swarms of student netizens and topped all the others to be the hottest theme. The proposal calls on students to contribute to establishing an energy-friendly campus. Over 200 replies were received with students’ signatures within only a steam of a few hours.
The youth league of SHNU recently held a special meeting on saving water and founded a volunteer inspection group to ensure that all the electrical facilities and water taps have been utilized in a proper way; moreover, the abuse of office printing paper shall be looked over to be blocked. The Dormitory Association endeavors to save on public amenities by sticking on the dorm building some leaflets, while the Dining Association is to carry out its promotion of saving on dishes, rice and bath water.
