SHNU: On May 7, a meeting on the comprehensive security work of our university was held to deploy work on strengthening the building of the party style and of clean governance, stabilizing situation and promoting work of top priority. SHNU vice president Wang Lianhua presided over the meeting and asked relevant departments of our university to bear in mind the characteristics and requirements of the new situation. He also requested that cadres should be self-disciplined and at the same time give reasonable instructions to their subordinates. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the Shanghai Education Commission in this respect, requiring the security-related departments of our university to take effective measures to ensure safety in various forms.
