SHNU: At the 60th anniversary of the May 1 Slogan that was issued by the central committee of CPC, a discussion meeting was held in our university on May 7. The meeting was hosted by Wu Zhenmei the head of the Department of the United Front of our university and attended by 30 odd representatives. SHNU vice Party secretary Huang Gang made a speech at the meeting. Huang looked back at the historical background and content of the May 1 Slogan and expressed deep gratitude to those old leaders and elders who had shared weal and woe with CPC members of our university. He hoped that the democratic parties and personages without party affiliation would further improve their own ability and contribute to the better and faster development of our university.
