It is reported that Fang Shan, a student majoring in Ancient Chinese Document of our university, carried away with the first prize of undergraduate students’ group in the 10th National University Ancient Chinese Document Scholarship Competition, the first time for our students to win the first prize in this program.
Outrivaling other competitors from China’s such renowned universities as Peking University, Zhejiang University etc., Fang stood out from all others to scoop the top trophy. Also, four other SHNU undergraduates won the third prize, and Liu Li won the 3rd prize for Master’s Degree candidate group. This scholarship program is biennially hosted by the Working Committee of National University Ancient Document Collation and Studies affiliated to China’s Ministry of Education. (By Rebecca) |
