Hundreds Gather for Delineating Hundred Meter Cloth Scrolls of Olympian Passion

On April 30^th, there was held on Xuhui Campus the Opening Ceremony for Hailing the last 100 Days from Beijing Olympics & for 100-meter-cloth-scrolls signature gathering. Over a hundred teachers and students attended the ceremony.

Heads of SHNU Youth League and the College of Finance unveiled the countdown board. Two SHNU students, also the student volunteer representatives of Beijing District of 2008 Olympics, spoke at the meeting with a torch in hand, calling on more students to contribute to the successful running of the Olympic Games.

Overseas students, ethnic minority students joined others in portraying their own Olympian dreams and youth blueprints on the 100-meter long cloth scroll. Most agreed that this offered them an ultimate opportunity for them to back up the Olympics and to show their love for our motherland.
