The International Labor Day (for which we will have 3 days-off from May 1st to May 3rd) is drawing near. To ensure a peaceful and happy holiday period, a safety meeting was convened by Huang Gang, SHNU vice Party Secretary, with the purpose of preventing major cases, fires and other accidents during the holidays. The meeting was attended by heads of SHNU Departments of Security, Publicity and Students’ Affairs. Safety awareness education has been carried out to strengthen teachers and students’ law-ruling awareness and crime-preventing awareness. A precaution of fire, burglary, accidents and sabotage has been made to eliminate different hidden dangers. It is also suggested that precious articles shall be brought home, windows of office and dorms shut, and power supply cut off.
