SHNU: The newly developed paperless office system was officially put into use the other day. On April 23 and 24, heads and information personnel of relevant colleges and departments received training in the use of paperless office system. The training was jointly held by the President’s Office and Informatization Office.SHNU vice president Lu Jianfei pointed out that though our daily work would not do without computers, we still relied on paper files heavily, which would reduce the work efficiency and waste resources. He hoped that the new paperless office system would provide a platform on which the information of the university could be shared by all through the campus network. The system has gone through pre-operation tests in several colleges and departments with positive feedback. As the system has been officially launched, all the teaching and administrative staff can use the system at http://portal.shnu.edu.cn with their campus card number or email address to log in.
