SHNU: The second lecture on the training of students’ political instructors of our university was held on April 22. Professor Miu Kecheng of East China Normal University was invited to deliver a lecture entitled “How to do Academic Research by Political Instructors in Universities”. SHNU vice Party secretary and vice president Jiang Weiyi and vice president Xiang Jiaxiang were present at the lecture. Miu started his lecture with some mistakes usually committed by students’ political instructors in writing academic papers or doing academic researches. He expounded the significance of doing researches in ideological and political education, requiring the political instructors to be aware of their responsibility that they shoulder, of the problems that can be the topics of research, and of the research methods that can be used on the bases of earnest theoretical study.
