On April 16th, over 300 students and 50 teachers from the College of Physical Education signed their names on the red banner printed with Frugality Is Good Moral and Merit.to show their resolution to help build an energy-saving campus.
Apart from that, the college has organized a Student Energy-Saving Service Group. Its 30-odd volunteers regularly inspect electric power switches and taps of various colleges on the campus, on which they stuck the note pad which read Save Electricity and Save Water. These volunteers also shuttle across classrooms to ensure that the lights are turned off after class. These are among the tasks in their twice-a-day energy-saving patrol round the campus.
