On April 13th, Lu Jianfei, SHNU vice president, met with John Stutz, Mayor of Banff from Canada and his wife, comparing notes on cooperation between the College of Tourism and Banff National Park in Canada. Preliminary intent of cooperation has been made.
Mr. John Stutz has made outstanding contributions to the tourist development and ecological protection of Banff, as one of the three largest national parks around the world, and also the natural and cultural heritage nominated by UNESCO. John Stutz delivered a theme report titled The Way of Sustained Development – Canadian Ecological City Banff, with an introduction of the advanced experience in environment management and protection of natural resources.
