SHNU: The 3rd Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Commendation Meeting of the Chemistry Department was held on April 2. The purpose of the meeting was to promote the subject awareness of young teachers and graduate students in doing scientific research, further strengthen the university-enterprise cooperation, and promote the overall strength of the Chemistry Department as a whole. SHNU vice president Li Hexing was present at the meeting. Altogether 39 teachers and graduate students were awarded first, second and third prizes. In particular, all the student first-prize winners have published papers in key journals or won awards in state-level scientific competitions. (Trans. by Jessica)
