Prof. Sun Xun’s National Social Sciences Foundation Program Graded Excellent

SHNU: A National Social Sciences Foundation Program undertaken by Sun Xun, professor of College of Humanities and Communication, has been assessed and graded by the Planning Office of National Social Sciences Foundation as the Excellent program.

    The program is entitled the Extraterritorial Chinese-written Novels. It consists of three series of books and three monographs, all about collection and researches into the Chinese-written novels in Japan, Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. These research fruits were the first and only ones that have made a systemic research into the Chinese-written novels in the three countries. They have not only filled the gaps in researches in this respect, but also expanded new fields of research in East-Asia Literature, Ancient Chinese Novels and Comparative Literature.
