On April 3rd, every SHNU staff member could find a new email which is a letter of appeal for energy saving, sent by the Information Service Department of our university. It can be summarized as follows,
On the premise of ensuring normal teaching activities and research work, we should enhance our energy-saving awareness and put it into practice, such as turning off the lights, computers and tabs when they are not used, preventing the continuous water flow, 24-hour operation of air conditioners and other power supplies in offices. A student manager could be chosen from each class to supervise all the energy saving work that should be done in the class. A working plan sheet has been attached to this email, detailing the progression of the plan, in order that the staff could have a better understanding of how to implement this energy-saving work.
