On April 2nd, 56 companies hunting for talents provided over 600 job vacancies at 2008 SHNU Spring Campus Job Fair. Among these companies were Guang Ming Shares Co.Ltd., a renowned diary products tycoon, Sumsung (China), Ping An Financial Group, Shanghai Starbuck, and about 10 job intermediary institutes from various districts across Shanghai.
Approximately a thousand students attended the job fair to hand in their CV to their potential employers. Most of them expressed their willingness to start from the grass roots and accumulate necessary experiences before they are able to choose a more suitable occupation. What they seek now was a broad developmental environment which will do them good in the future. During the interview, a few reputed enterprises highlighted students’ social practice experiences, their eloquence of speech, manners, and the ability to express themselves.
Also, experts from Shanghai Social Insurance Policy Consulting Center and Career Doctors were present at the fair offering advice for those would-be graduates.
