SHNU: An employment meeting of our university was held on Mar. 21. Officials from the Shanghai Education Commission and Shanghai Personnel Bureau, leaders of our university, and heads of all the colleges of our university attended the meeting. Zhou Honggang, Party Secretary of our university, pointed out in his speech that with the joint efforts of the whole university, the employment rate was higher than that of last year. He required that all the departments and colleges take the spirit of the 17th National Congress of CPC as the guideline and do what we could to promote the employment work of our university. The meeting also commended outstanding individuals and employment programs with distinctive features. President Li Jin announced two decisions of commendation. Vice Party Secretary Jiang Weiyi delivered a keynote speech in which she talked about the employment work of 2007 and the work plan of 2008. Shen Xiaoyi and Wang Xiping, officials from Shanghai Personnel Bureau and Shanghai Education Commission, fully affirmed the achievements we have made and hoped our university would continue our efforts in this respect.
