SHNU: SHNU vice president Lu Jianfei met an American delegation of two from Kent State University of Ohio. Relevant people from the College of Humanities and Communication, International College of Chinese Studies, Financial College, Foreign Languages College and International Exchange Department attended the meeting. Doc. Steve O. Michael, Vice President of Kent State University (KSU), came to China to submit to the Chinese Language Council International application materials for the establishment of Confucius Institute in KSU. He also probed into the possibility of cooperation with our university in this respect. Substantial progress was made after the friendly consultation. When the meeting was over, the guests of KAU paid a visit to Financial College and the newly built conference center. (Trans. by Jessica)
