The 1st Seminar on Activity Theory of Asia and Vikskey Held in SHNU

SHNU: On March 9, the 1st Seminar Activity Theory of Asia and Vikskey was held in our university. The seminar was co-sponsored by College of Psychology of Huazhong Normal University (HNU), Research Center of Activity Theory of Japanese Kansai University and Research Institute of Psychology of our university.

    Being the first of its kind, the seminar on Activity Theory and researches about Vikskey received much support from leaders and scholars in the field of Psychology. Prof. Zhou Zongkui, head of College of Psychology of HNU, hosted the seminar.

    Both Chinese and foreign scholars shared their views on new research fruits in Activity Theory and Vikskey’s Theory. Scholars and experts from both home and abroad delivered their keynote reports, including Prof. Jean Lave from University of California, Berkeley, Prof. Dorothy Holland from The University of North Carolina, Prof. Katsuhiro Yamazumiand Futoshi Hiruma from Kansai University, Prof. Lu Jiamei, head of Research Institute of Psychology of our university, etc. Over 70 teachers and graduate students of our university attended the seminar。 They listened to the lectures and participated in the academic discussion.
