SHNU: A group of experts, entrusted by Academic Degree Office of the State Council, made an on-the-spot inspection of the application work for the master station of Chemical Engineering of our university. SHNU president Li Jin extended a warm welcome to the experts and cordially invited advice from them. Prof. Fang Zhenyun from Chongqing University hosted the conference. University leaders including Li Jin, Xiang Jiaxinag, Lu Jianfei, Li Hexing and Gao Jianhua were present. Vice president Li Hexing and representative of the College of Life and Environmental Sciences briefed the related information to the experts. After the conference, the experts held a discussion with some teachers and management staff and made a survey of the labs and cooperation enterprises of the Chemistry as a discipline. The experts read carefully the report of application for the master station and offered earnest suggestions as to how we could do better. They recommended our university as the one that was qualified to recruit graduate students in Chemical Engineering. (Trans. by Jessica) |
