On March 5th, Mr. Isshiki, president of Higashi Osaka University, and Yoshioka, the vice president, visited SHNU, and were met by Lu Jianfei, vice president of SHNU. Heads of the College of Education and Department of International Exchanges attended the meeting.
Li Jin, SHNU president, extended hospitality to the visitors, and said that culture should act as the carrier of bilateral cooperation which shall not only surpass the realm of paedology, but also tap various social factors affecting children’s growth, e.g. the growth of girls. Lu suggested more on teacher exchange visits, students exchange, scientific cooperation and mutual invitation of guest professors. Furthermore, cooperative prospect and detailed items were addressed in between. Yoshioka, at the invitation of Xuesihu Master Scholar Forum, delivered a speech to elaborate the concepts of paedology.
