On March 3rd, the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 5th SHNU Party Commission, and the 10th Plenary Meeting of the 5th Discipline Inspection Commission were held, hosted by Li Jin, SHNU president and chief member of the party commission. Zhou Honggang, SHNU Party Secretary, reported on the work done in 2007 and the pivotal points of work in 2008. Issues addressed at the meeting included university leaders’ work, organization, publicity, united front work, students political and ideological education and young and female working staff, etc., with feasible suggestions brought forth by those who attended the meeting.
