On February 29th, Lu Jianfei, vice president of SHNU, met with John Lynam, vice consul of Irish Embassy in China, at the Overseas Students Center, and talked with him about detailed arrangement for Dublin Symphony Orchestra to have musical performance in our university. Mr. Lynam said that Dublin Symphony Orchestra shall come to Shanghai Normal University to have its first performance in China. He also expressed his desire for cooperative performance with Wangfang Youth Symphony Orchestra of the College of Music of our university.
