Recently, an agreement on Collaborate Lab of Digital Community and Intelligent Home was signed by the College of Mathematics and Science of SHNU and Shanghai Minda Network Science Co. Ltd, for the purpose of common research in this realm.
The number of experts ran up to 20, including those from the Industrial and Commercial Federation of Xuhui District, Shanghai Municipal Expert Commission of Intelligent Architecture, Shanghai Home Appliance Association of Digital Information, Shanghai Minda Network Technology Co. Ltd., Huawei Co. Ltd., leaders of the college, and other scholars and professors. With the emergence of digitalization, modern community and home appliances will be gradually digital-oriented with more informationized and individualized development. The controlling and information technology have permeated into the life of common people, bringing forth more safety, comfort, convenience and less energy consumption. This cooperative program of university and enterprises shall guide the citizens into the threshold of a pioneering digital community and intelligent homes. (By Rebecca) |
