SHNU: Prof. He Yunfeng, head of the Research Institute of Knowledge and Value, was reported to have won the 2008 Jacobs Foundation International Young Scholar Award. He would attend the international academic conference organized by the Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) to be held in Chicago in March. He was also invited to deliver a lecture entitled Peer Groups and Social Functioning and Academic Achievement: A Longitudinal Study of Chinese Children. As a multi-disciplinary international organization with its headquarter in the U.S., SRA (http://www.s-r-a.org)currently owns over 1,200 members representing 30 countries throughout the world. With the slogan of “Better Education, Better Work, Better Life”, Jacobs Foundation(http://www.jacobsfoundation.org) is devoted to promoting the development of adolescence by encouraging and funding researches worldwide. From 2008 the Jacobs Foundation International Young Scholar Award will be issued biannually in the international academic conference held by SRA and the award winners will be invited to make a research report. Prof. He is mainly engaged in the fields of Philosophy, Management, Educational and Developmental Psychology.
