On February 25th, Jiang Mingjun, head of SHNU Students Affairs Department, won an honorary title at the Meeting of Shanghai Outstanding Political Education Workers as well as the 2008 Shanghai Forum of Moral Education. Jiang was also the first prize winner of outstanding research paper writing at the forum of student advisors. Dai Bing, a students’ advisor of College of Finance of SHNU, was awarded the tile of one of the Ten Outstanding Students’ Advisors for Universities in Shanghai 2006-2007.
The annual award meeting and the forum of moral education aim at praising and publicizing those students’ advisors and political education workers who have made unrelenting contributions at their posts in Shanghai. Yang Zhenbin, director of political and ideological education of China’s Education Ministry, and Li Xuanhai, party secretary of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Education, made speeches at the meeting, which was hosted by Zhang Minxuan, vice director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education.
