SHNU: The first meeting of University Affairs Committee of SHNU in 2008 was held on February 26. Zhong Honggang, Party Secretary of SHNU and director of the Committee hosted the meeting. In the meeting, President Li Jin announced the plan for the work of SHNU in 2008. Zhou Honggang briefed the Party construction work of SHNU to be done in 2008. Zhou said that this year was crucial for the realization of the 11th 5-year plan of our university; he also thanked the members of the committee who earnestly fulfilled their responsibilities and contributed their ideas to the reform and development of our university. After the speeches of the two leaders, members of the Committee aired their views as to how to arrange the work of the university to achieve better development. (Trans. by Jessica)
