SHNU: On Feb. 24, SHNU President Li Jin, on behalf of our university, conferred the title of Honorary Professor on Mr. Komaru, chairman of Japan Fukuyama Company. After the ceremony, Mr. Komaru ascended the “Overseas Masters’ Forum” and delivered a lecture, which was hosted by vice president Lu Jianfei. As one of the largest logistics companies in Hiroshima, Fukuyama Company is a powerful supporting syndicate of the Fukuyama Confucius Institute. Komaru entered the corporation in 1951 and has always been devoted to the Sino-Japanese communications in education. In his lecture, Mr. Komaru made a brief introduction of his company and shared with the audience his experiences and reflections of life. After the lecture, students exchanged their ideas with Komaru in a heated atmosphere. (Trans. by Jessica)
