SHNU: The other day, China Youth, authorized by Central Committee of the Youth League and All-China Students' Federation, issued the appraisal result of University Student Star of Self-improvement as well as Self-improvement Scholarship of University Students of New Oriental School. Zhang Yihua, a student of the Youth College of our university, was among the prize winners. After many rounds of recommendation and selection, Zhang Yihua was elected from 909 candidates to be conferred the honorary title and awarded with the scholarship jointly provided by Central Committee of the Youth league, All-China Students' Federation and the New Oriental Education & Technology Group. On Jan. 19, the discussion meeting and award giving ceremony of 2007 University Student Star of Self-improvement was held by the Central Committee of the Youth League in the Great Hall of the People.
