On January 11, SHNU Talent Show by Young Teachers and Staff was held, which was cosponsored by Trade Union and Women’s Federation of our university. Performers demonstrated their various skills and talent on the stage.
Singing, dancing, poem reciting, mimes, painting, ikebana, seal and food carving, cross-stitching, martial arts and fashion shows, etc.— all these composed a wondrous art show of variety, with the air brimming with audience’s bravos. In the end, awards for the Best Performance, the Best Popularity, the Best Talent Show, the Best Elegance, the Coolest Innovation, and the Best Skills all went to the respective winners after nearly 3 hours of fierce competition. The show rendered a nice opportunity for young teachers to make mutual exchanges and improvement, apart from their tight daily schedule of teaching and research jobs. This is the third show of a 6-show series, and before that, there had already been calligraphy and bilingual speech contests. |
