According to Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Degree Conferring Commission, 3 dissertations are among the list of 2007 Shanghai Outstanding Awards for Postgraduates. The three dissertations include two Master’s degree papers by 2 students majoring in language and literature, and in chemistry respectively, and one doctor’s degree paper by a student majoring in language and literature. The awarding of this kind is an important measure to establish quality supervision system. Receiving the awards by our students signifies quality of degree paper writing by our graduate students, and is an encouragement for our university to further improve the postgraduate education and to ensure the quality of degrees to be conferred. |
