As is notified by the Ministry of Education of PRC, SHNU’s Primary Education Program was approved as one in the first groups of university programs with distinctive features, claiming to be Outstanding Major Construction Bases. In accordance with the requirement of “quality engineering”, there are altogether 25 Bachelor-level majors of 10 universities in Shanghai which are qualified for this title.
As one of the first group of universities approved to establish a bachelor’s program of primary school education, our university has always emphasized the quality of primary school teachers in the new century, helping the development of those teachers in an all-round way. Since the first group of students of this major graduated in 2003, we have achieved a consecutive employment rate of 100%. |
