SHNU: On November 1, students from the SHNU Dancing Art Practice Base presented a special performance entitled “Vigorous SHNU” in Century Square of Nanjing Road. As one of the performances of 2009 China•Shanghai International Arts Festival, the performance of SHNU belongs to the Show Week of Art Practice Base for University Students in Shanghai International students of SHNU and students from the Music College performed dances, solo, ensemble of traditional instruments, etc. The performance was well received by audiences present. The following is a brief introduction of Shanghai International Arts Festival: Established in 1999, the China•Shanghai International Arts Festival is a state-level art festival in China. With years of development, it has enjoyed good reputation both at home and abroad. It presents music, drama, dance, acrobatics, magic, exhibition and exposition.
