Half of the Students of Biological Sciences Pass the Postgraduate Qualifying Examination

03 Nov 2009

SHNU: It is reported that 14 senior students, among 25 in a class, majoring in Biological Sciences from the SHNU College of Life and Environmental Engineering, succeeded in passing the postgraduate qualifying examinations.
These students have been enrolled by famous universities both at home and abroad, including Université de Paris XI - Paris Sud, Biochemistry Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, East China Normal University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc.
This is not common in SHNU. The success is largely due to the effective measures taken by the Life and Environmental Engineering—the college guides and cares for its students in ideology, study, psychological well-being and everyday life, so that the students can be fully engaged in their professional study and greatly motivated in their preparation for the exams.
