SHNU: On October 21st, the ‘Happy Jacks’ Choir from the University of Wyoming and SHNU Xingzhi Girl’s Choir Joint Concert was held in the Grand Theatre of Fengxian campus. SHNU Vice President Gao Jianhua attended the performance. The Happy Jacks is an elite group of male cappella vocalists that has been building a high-profile reputation since its founding in 2005. Each year they tour schools, sharing their unique music and comedic performance with communities and students. Their soft and relaxed songs ‘Close to You’, ‘More Today than Yesterday’ and ‘Africa’ deeply attracted the SHNU audience. SHNU Xingzhi Girls’ Choir also presented three songs ‘Emerged in October Sunshine’, ‘Swinging with the Saints’ and ‘Caral Medley’. They will hold another concert on Xuhui campus on October 22nd as part of the 2009 SHNU International Arts Festival. Over 400 students crowded the Grand Theatre and appreciated the performance.
