Experts Gather in SHNU to Discuss Crisis Management and Harmonious Society

SHNU: Over 50 experts and scholars from the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong and Shanghai gathered in
SHNU to participate in the “Crisis Management and Harmonious Society” Symposium on
September 19.
    Among the participants, there were Dr. Robert A. Evans, who won nomination for Nobel
Peace Prize in 2002-2003, Dr. Akihira Komatsu, principal researcher of Japanese Disaster-
Prevention Psychology Research Institute.
    Experts analyzed the causes and influence of crisis from both the macro and micro
theoretical levels, and shared experiences and skills in crisis management.
    Many believe the symposium will shed light on the building of a harmonious society in China.
The symposium was hosted by the College of Humanities and Communications of SHNU.
