SHNU: Sponsored by SHNU Center of Women’s Studies, Shanghai Association of Women’s Studies, and Editorial Office of Shanghai Women, a local journal, the Symposium on the 60-year Review and Future Development of Shanghai Women was held in SHNU on September 16th. The symposium was attended by over 20 scholars of the field from various universities in Shanghai. Discussions were run concerning the development and flaws of Shanghai women in the political, economic, legal, social, educational, literary, arts and international education domains over the past 60 years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
