SHNU: On September 15th, Biandan（shoulder pole）Drama of Congming County, Shanghai arrived at SHNU for a folk arts show, the first time such a non-material cultural heritage listed by Shanghai government has entered a university campus. Reputed as one of the 3 puppet dramas of the world, Biandan features its gadget of just one pole for the transition of the whole plot. The show drew the eyes of thousands of teachers and students, and foreign students in particular. As the only existent pocket puppet show in China, Congming Biandan drama has the performers coordinate with hands, legs and the mouth at the same time. The characters can be depicted with lively images during the 3 minutes’ to 30 minutes’act.
