SHNU: At the start of the new academic term, SHNU renewed its contract with English First Training Center(EF) so that the university will continue to have the oral English classes taught by foreign teachers. SHNU vice president Lu Jianfei, Cong Yuhao and staff from relevant departments attended the ceremony. In his speech, Lu highly praised the new education concept, responsible teaching attitude and scientific management of EF. As early as 2005, SHNU has started its cooperation with EF and was its first university partner in Shanghai. Established by Swedish entrepreneur Bertil Hult in 1965, EF aims to“break the barriers in language, culture and geography”. Now it is the largest private education organization that specializes in language training, educational travel, academic degree programs and cultural exchange. As of today, EF has grown into a leading private education organization in the world, with over 15 million students in over 400 schools, covering more than 50 countries. EF has now over 100 schools across more than 50 Chinese cities. (Edited by Jessica)
