09 Jun 2009

SHNU: In China’s 4th Japanese Language Competition (East China Section) held in Donghua University
on June 7, SHNU student Zhuang Lianzhen, a sophomore from Foreign Languages College, won a third
prize. This is the best result for this event by SHNU student in history.
The 23 candidates of the competition were mostly junior students from various institutions of higher
education. Zhuang was among a few of the second-year Japanese majors and won the appreciation of
the judges with her pure accent and excellent performance.
Zhuang’s success also has much to do with the guidance and help of Chinese and Japanese teachers in
Foreign Languages College,SHNU.
