SHNU: At the invitation of College of Education of SHNU, Xu Jian, Headmaster of Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School, delivered a lecture entitled School Management and Feature Construction in the university. Based on his own work experience, Xu expounded three requisites for a school to form its features: first, the school should have its own advantages; second, the school should work out ways to strengthen and consolidate these advantages; third, the school should develop core competitiveness in constructing its own features. Xu also answered questions put forward by the graduate students and doctoral candidates. His advice and encouragements for those who wanted to become teachers after graduation gained big applauses from the listeners. (Edited by Jessica)
