SHNU: On April 1st, as http://www.gqb.gov.cn/news/ (website of OCAOSC) reports, 2 SHNU professors, Lu Jiamei and Xie Limin, were invited to deliver lectures in Malaysia to train teachers for Independent Chinese Secondary School of Malaysia, a program of overseas Chinese education models of the country. It is summarized as the following: Approximately 109 newly recruited teachers attended the lectures of the training camp. Overall, the curricula include psychology, instructional psychology, responsibilities and professional development of modern teachers, pedagogy, disciplinary education, classroom teaching practices and skills of education etc. Sponsored by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Shanghai, this program aims at promoting the cultural and educational exchanges between Malaysia and China, and refreshing the Chinese education patterns for Malaysian teachers.
