Recently, the 2025 "Chinese Teaching Hero" International Chinese Teaching Skills Exchange Activity for the East China Region was held at East China Normal University. Twenty-five teams from 19 universities across various provinces and cities in East China advanced to this exchange event. The faculty team fromSHNUInternational Collegeof ChineseStudies (ICCS) won the "Best Teaching Design Award," while the student team received the "Chinese Teaching Elite Team" honor. The student team will represent the East China Region at the national finals of the 2025 "Chinese Teaching Hero" International Chinese Teaching Skills Exchange Activity, which would be held in Beijing in December.
The "Heroes of Chinese Teaching" event, with the core theme of "Empowering Teaching, Navigating with Wisdom," has been highly valued by the School of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language over the years. The teaching team has continuously innovated, establishing a sustainable development model for cultivating international Chinese language education professionals, providing a model for teaching methods and evaluation systems in international Chinese language education.
