SHNU: A Japanese delegation of 3, headed by Vice President of Fukuyama University, was met by SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei. Also present were relevant staff from Foreign Languages College and International Exchange Division. The guests introduced relevant information about the Confucius Institute in their university；Lu said SHNU would do what it could to run well its first overseas Confucius Institute. The two sides also discussed details of the “2-plus-2” student exchange program (students to study Japanese in SHNU for 2 years and Economics in Fukuyama University for another 2 years). This year 2 SHNU candidates majoring in Japanese will take part in the program. Also, a SHNU teacher who was teaching in Confucius Institute was approved by Hanban to be the Chinese Dean of the institute. (Edited by Jessica)
