On December 24th, representatives of the SHNU staff who were once honored as Model Workers (at least university level) assembled for a New Year Reunion, which was also attended by Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President, and other heads from SHNU Department of Human Resources, and Workers’ Union.
It is stressed that more respect and care should be given to these role models, and suggestions are brought forward to the reforms and development of the university. It is noted that these élites range from 40 to 84 years of age, with 20 of whom awarded as Model Workers at the city, provincial or national level. (Edited by Rebecca) |
