On November 3rd, Prof. Zhang Minsheng, Vice Head of China Education Society, addressed on Teaching Orientation and Classroom Teaching Reform in Shanghai Normal University. Zhang underscores the paramount importance of reforming education patterns. He lays stress on the innovative mode of classroom teaching, which is the focal point of quality-oriented education. Under such a mode, the students are supposed to change from passive learning to active learning and eventually establish a life-long interest in learning.
